Totally Active Kids (TAK) is a company that

specializes in

designing programs for children

with

special needs and

young kids at risk for

motor

delays. These programs are

individualized

and

geared towards each child's abilities,

needs

and

limitations to help them be successful within a

group

setting. Depending on which program the

child is

enrolled in; he/she will have the

opportunity to work on

developmental skills,

leisure skills, accessing the

community, social

skills, health/fitness, group games,

and

sports.

All programs are designed through a

collaborative

process involving a combination of

professionals

to include,

a physical therapist,

occupational

therapist, adaptive

physical education

(APE)

teachers, and special education

teachers, who

implement activities, making adaptations

when

necessary to enable each child to fully participate

in

all aspects of the program. The programs that

we

provide

are spring and summer camps,

afternoon

activities, social

skills groups, weekend

activities and

individual sessions.
