What Special Education Can (and Can't) Do
    for Your Child
Julie Foley & Kim McKay, Parents for
    Parents, Inc.

          Thursday, March 29
Many parents with children with autism have
    questions and concerns regarding special
education support for their child that continue
to change as their child matures. Understanding
what special education is (and isn't) will help
you get the most out of your child's school
experience. Participants will gain a knowledge
of special education laws, and how they play
out in local school systems. Emphasis will be on
working with your child's team to develop
    effective partnerships when developing
strategies for success for your child in the
    inclusive academic environment.
