Knowing that many of us are weathering the storms, we are seeking to continue to be Empowered Parents. We now have a new name "Empowered Parenting". A group that seeks to support and provide resources for parents and/or guardians of children with Challenging Behavior due to emotional or mental health Issues. Come and be part of a group that seeks to educate and support families and people struggling to cope due to Mental and Emotional Health issues. The Federation has other groups, however we are targeting the Silver Spring, Wheaton and Takoma Park areas. The Lollipop Kids Foundation exists to combat social stigmas, ease the financial burden placed on these families, offer emotional support, and provide brief respite so that every child with a disability has access to a hope and a future.
